The Return of the Root

INGLEWOOD, California (May 2, 2021) -- The Inglewood Blackhawks go into week four with a undefeated 2-0 record after defeating two solid programs in the Beach City Giants and So. Cal Coyotes. This week the Blackhawks will get back one of it's premier pass rushers in DE, Devierre Glenn known to mist as Root. Root is primed and ready to hit the field again after leading the LDFL in sacks before Covid-19 shut down the world and the LDFL season. Glenn has led several leagues in sacks which has led to his many Defensive MVP awards. "We're excited to have him back in the loop" stated Blackhawk head coach Tony Reid. The work he does for his family, friends, and community in his time away from football is amazing so waiting for his return was a no brainer. His philanthropy is is unmatched and we're just excited to have a young man on our side with a heart like that. Root will be ready this weekend when the Blackhawks host the Kern Oilers at Covina District Stadium.
