Inglewood Loading Up at WR for 2019 Season

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (November 22, 2019) -- The Blackhawks have always been known for their air attack and you have to look no further than to last season when LDFL Offensive MVP Robert Fuller Sr. threw for a league high 33 touchdowns. It looks as if things will remain the same as the Blackhawks have locked in some great additions for the upcoming 2020 spring season. The latest is Jalen Amis, a 6'1 190 receiver who recently finished up his college career at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa. Amis was a two-time All-NSIC selection where he pulled in 1,779 yards and 10 touchdowns in his two years at Upper Iowa. His 899 yards as a junior is the sixth highest total in NSIC history.

"We're excited to have him on board stated Blackhawk head coach, Tony Reid. I saw some good things from him during our recent OTA's and he has the speed to compliment the other receivers we have in the saddle. With his size and speed I think he will be a known name by seasons end.

The Blackhawks are gearing up for their first preseason game on January 11, 2020 when they host the Tucson Thunder of the Arizona Cactus Football League. For more information call the Blackhawk team office at 310.947.9733.
