"Guess Who's Back"

LAS VEGAS, NV. - (October 29, 2019) -- With the LDFL/GDFL West season slowly approaching, the 2019 LDFL Champion Inglewood Blackhawks have solidified that 4X League Defensive MVP Roy Otis is back for one more season. With a grueling schedule being the running backs coach for Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas and a two budding stars in the making with his two sons, his schedule would seem too busy to be able to squeeze in one more round. But not for Roy who is known as, "CAPTAIN" amongst his teammates because of his leadership, play on the field, and being one of the faces of this organization. "I had a talk with my body and it said it's good for one more season" stated Otis. Plus Tony is like family to me and we said we would put in the work to defend the title after winning it all last year. The former University of Houston stand-out has been one of the top defensive leaders in the league every since he stepped foot on the field with the Blackhawks in 2009. "Man I'm pumped the heck up knowing I'll be on the field again with Captain" stated Donyae Coleman who returned to the Blackhawks for the 2020 season after shutting it down after the 2015 season. Playing with Roy is like us having 12 on the field compared to the opponents 11 because he knows where to be even if we seemed to be out-manned on either side of the ball. His football IQ is through the roof. Teaming up with Devin Jones and Mikell Mair again is gonna be something special in 2020. The Blackhawks will start preparing for the 2020 when they open up mini-camp on Wednesday, November 6th.
