Inglewood Tame Tigers once again in High Scoring game by the score of 64-24
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 2, 2019) -- In a game that was 28-18 at halftime, the Inglewood Blackhawks exploded for 36 second half point as they defeated the Santa Clarita Valley tigers by the score of 64-24. Inglewood was led by QB Robert Fuller Sr who has another big day passing going 26-42 for 431 yards and 6 touchdowns. Fuller connected with 10 different receivers on the day throwing touchdowns to 5 of them. Three different receivers went over the century mark in the game which is a Blackhawk record. Devin Gage had 9 receptions for 126 yards and 1 touchdown, Billy Jordan had 4 receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown, and Justin Sydney had 5 for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns. RB Terrell Alex had three touchdowns of his own on the day.
Defensively Inglewood was led by Player of the Game, DB Kevin Blane who had 12 tackles, 4 for loss, and three sacks. "We moved Kevin around today to capitalize on his range and ability to cover the entire field", stated Blackhawk defensive coordinator, Stephon Ross. After giving up 18 points in the first half, we had to change some things up and put people in certain places and it worked. LB Chris Benson led Inglewood with 13 tackles while Edwin Flores continues to play lights out had 11.
