The Inglewood Blackhawks are a Professional Developmental Football team in the beautiful city of Inglewood and are members of the La Belle Community Football League. The Blackhawks are here to provide a professional caliber of live action, hard hitting football for our fans. We are a community based organization that would like to provide a very comfortable atmosphere to our fans, and to also show our appreciation by giving back to our community. The Blackhawks are here to provide a higher level of football for players to fine tune their skills and get their needed game film as they make an attempt to get to the next level of paid professional football. The Blackhawks are looking to put together a rich tradition that will attract scouts, sponsors, and media coverage. The Blackhawks will be going into there seventh year of operations in 2007. With a great reputation and fan base, the Blackhawks have been noticed and featured on several media outlets which include ESPN, Spike TV, The KTLA Morning News, Direct TV, and the USA Network.
Owner, Tony Reid has set a great standard for Minor League Football in Southern California. In 2005, Reid was inducted into the Minor League Football Hall of Fame where he was honored as one of the top Executives on the West Coast. He has two Executive of the Year honors while being chose as Owner of the Year in 2001, 2005, and 2006.
The Blackhawks will continue to build one of the finest Developmental Professional Football teams in Southern California. The Blackhawk management and their staff will work long hard hours to make the 2007 season and beyond a memorable one. Together with our community, we will definitely be a winning combination.
