Tribble says, I need a Ring. Signs with the Champs.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 21, 2011) -- Minor League veteran and the emotional leader for every team he has been on at this level, Tight End Rockey Tribble has signed to play with the Inglewood Blackhawks for the upcoming 2011 season. "There comes a time where football and my personal business has met head on and playing in Inglewood puts me closer to where I can excel at doing both and have a great chance of winning another championship", stated Tribble. Rockey has played against the Blackhawks in the past and has been involved in some epic battles against the Wood. Most recently, Tribble was apart of the O.C. Ravens team that met the Blackhawks in the 2010 LCFL Semi-Finals. "Losing that game left a bad taste in my mouth but I wouldn't have wanted to lose to anyone other than the Blackhawks because they are by far the most professional team at this level. Tribble is also a special teams extraordinaire as he he takes pride in not only the offensive side of the ball but special teams as he likes to mix it up on all of them. "With us signing an All Pac-10 punter in Jonathan Johnson, I can't wait to get on that punt coverage team. Tribble has achieved All American honors on this level as well as won championships so he knows what it takes to win. "From what I've seen so far, if this team stays humble as it did last year, I see no reason for great things to happen in 2011. Ironically, Tribble and Blackhawk owner Tony Reid were teammates once upon a time so they've been knowing one another for years. "I'm not trying to tell my age but T-Reid is a young cat, he just happens to own a successful team". YEAH RIGHT!!! Welcome aboard Rock.
