LOS ANGELES, Calif. (October 10, 2011) -- Behind another solid game from (QB) Devin Hollins and (WR) Solomon Jones, the Inglewood Blackhawks cruised to a 39-6 victory over the visiting Antelope Valley Vikings at Jackie Robinson Stadium.  The Blackhawks playing without 7 total starters still managed to make quick work out og the Vikings.  With a 14-6 halftime advantage, Inglewood came out in the second half and put on another fireworkd display.  Devin Hollins was 14 of 23 for 210 yards 3 TD's and 2 INT's giving him a league leading 19 touchdown passes on the year.  Jones finished the day with only 2 receptions but both were for touchdowns (63 and 7).  (WR) Nate Harrison added to the offensive production with 43 yards receiving and a touchdown.  Running back John Nairn (University of Colorado) filled in for Brian Flowers (who was sitting out the game) and did an excellent job in the running game rushing for 80 yards on 6 carries and 2 touchdowns.  Nairn also had 50 yards on kickoff returns giving him 130 all purpose yards in the game.

Defensively, the Blackhawks played a really sound game behind the play of linebacker, Roy Otis (University of Houston/Gardena HS) who led the team with nine tackle and 1 interception.  The Blackhawks sacked the Vikings quarterback a total of 6 times and intercepted him twice.  (LB) Dwight Hamilton and (DB) Curtis Perkins both pitched in with 5 tackles apiece helping the defense continue to stay in the #1 spot in the league.

The Blackhawks are back on the road as they travel to San Diego to take on the San Diego Stallions.  The Stallions are coming off a 6-0 victory over the Valley Predators and are looking for a final push to claim one of the last 2 slots in the LCFL playoff bracket.  The Blackhawks have all but sewn up the #1 seed for the 2011 playoffs.
