Blackhawks Land Former Utah Ute before Signing Deadline

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (August 25, 2011) -- Coach Leon Williams had stated that he would like to shore up his secondary a little more before the signing deadline and on Wednesday night he did just that.  The Blackhawks came to terms on a two year deal with defensive back, Justin Weatherall Walker.  Weatherall-Walker played his college ball at the University of Utah where he was part of a team that were known to college football as "BCS" busters as he and his Ute teammates won the 2005 fiesta Bowl behind a great performance by #1 draft pick, Alex Smith (San Francisco 49ers).  Justin played on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and defensive back which shows that he's a true athlete.  If Coach Urban Meyer would let any player play both sides of the ball, you know the kid must be an athlete.  Justin is also an exceptional kick and punt returner which he utilizes his world class track speed.  "He's definitely NFL quality and were just lucky to have him in the black and green now", stated defensive coach, Leon Williams.  Justin played at West L.A. CC and Dorsey High School before heading to the Utes.  For him, it's like a homecoming because he'll be playing on the same field he played on in high school.  Welcome aboard Just!!!!
