Blackhawks drown Dolphins 37-0, move to 3-0

HUNTINGTON PARK, Calif. (August 22, 2011) -- It took under two quarters of football for the California Dolphins to realize the game was over.  With 0:19 seconds left before half-time and the Blackhawks leading 37-0, Dolphin Quarterback, Kadel Washington head butted and took a swing at Blackhawk linebacker, Roy Otis after being shoved out of bounds which started a huge melee that would ultimately lead to the officials to end the game.  "This is an ugly look for our league to have something like this happen and I'm not happy with it", stated Blackhawk head coach, Tony Reid.  Football is played on the field and when guys start fighting and swinging helmets, then it gets personal and beyond the field.  Both teams have had three players suspended for this weeks upcoming game and the game was ended with the Blackhawks winning 37-0.

(QB) Devin Hollins was efficient in a half of football in which he was 6 of 10 for 113 yards and 2 TD's.  Hollins hit (WR) Solomon Jones on a 48 yard strike for a touchdown and (TE) Rockey Tribble on a 28 yarder late in the second quarter.  The Blackhawk ground game was solid but only carried the ball a total of 6 times with two of those going for touchdowns.  Brian Flowers scored from 7 yards out while Trey Rogers scored from 3 yards out.  The other Blackhawk scoring came from (LB) Leon Friend who put two early points on the board with a safety and later in the quarter scored on a 80 yard punt return by Eddie Hunter.  Now let us give you the scenario.  Hunter fielded the punt at his own 20 yard line, he raced down the sideline for what was to be an easy touchdown but as he got to the 20 yard line, he turned around and started running backwards in which he pitched the ball back to Leon Friend at the 5 yard line who then just walked it in for a touchdown.  Hunter gets credit for 75 yard while Friend gets credit for 5 yards and a touchdown.  "Now that's TEAM WORK".
