This season, Evans is a key component to the expansion Arizona Adrenaline of the American Indoor Football Association. The Adrenaline had there first ever action last week in a scrimmage game the Reading Express in which they fell short as time ran out by the score of 47-43. "Last year after the Shockwave season, I had a lot of bumps and bruises which needed to be rested. That kept me from a full season with the Blackhawks in 2007 so I'm even more amped to get back out there on the big field with my Blackhawk family" stated Evans. ANCHORAGE, Alaska (March 10, 2008) -- Blackhawk receiver, Andre Velazquez is starting to make waves with the Alaska Wild of the Intense Football League. Velazquez started his arena career with a standout night against the rival Fairbanks Grizzlies. Dre delighted the crowd with three touchdowns in the Wilds 88-21 victory over the Grizzlies. Velazquez scored from three different areas on the field. He scored on a 41 yard kickoff return, a pass reception, and ran one in playing the quarterback position.
